October Community Events

National Night Out

October 4th brought the community out for National Night Out. This is a night to help raise awareness on crime and crime prevention. The Board used this as an opportunity to help pass out important contact information for the community, while our local law enforcement stopped by to show their support of Walker's Mark, and Scout from Associa paid a special visit to the kids to teach them about safety. Walker's Mark Oktoberfest

Fall doesn't just bring changes to colors in the leaves, but also brings about fun fall traditions like Oktoberfest! Saturday October 22nd, Walker's Mark held its first Oktoberfest event where neighbors brought different beers for sampling, while filling up on German dishes and enjoying the beautiful fall day at the Club House. Quite the spread was to be had of Bratwurst and sides. Thank you to all who came out and sampled with us, and a special thank you to SpindleTap Brewery for donating a Brewery Tour and Tasting for 15 to the winner of our Beer Trivia contest.
